Dr. Furth obtained her undergraduate education at the University of Denver before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M. In 2012, she then completed a small animal rotating internship at Auburn University in Alabama. Dr. Furth went on to complete a surgical internship at Capital Area Veterinary Specialists in Austin, Texas and a clinical associate position in small animal surgery at Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. In 2014, Dr. Furth joined an emergency hospital in Round Rock as a clinical associate.
Dr. Furth’s professional interests include surgery, emergency and critical care, neurology, rehabilitation, and client education. She lives in Austin with her husband and their two dogs, George and Ice. In her spare time, Dr. Furth enjoys reading, painting, watching movies, yoga, and spending time with her friends, family, and pets.
