Dr. Linney was born and raised near Denver, Colorado at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. At an early age, after realizing his natural draw to animals, the outdoors, and all things science, he felt called to veterinary medicine. His college career began at Colorado State University where he completed his BS in Biology in 2009 followed by an MS in Biomedical Sciences in 2010, and finally, CSU’s joint MBA/DVM program, ultimately obtaining his MBA in the spring of 2013, and his DVM in 2016. Following graduation, Dr. Linney went on to complete a post-doctoral internship in emergency and critical care medicine in Phoenix, Arizona. Having never lived in Texas before, Travis is thrilled to experience the new adventures that await him in the beautiful city of Austin. He is an avid mountain biker, snowboarder, enjoys yoga, experimenting in the kitchen, and satisfying his philanthropic ventures as a board member and active volunteer for an international spay/neuter non-profit.
