Austin Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center (AVES) is seeking a technician proficient in veterinary anesthesia to join our team. AVES is a multi-disciplinary hospital supporting Surgery, Neurology, Emergency and Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Oncology and Dentistry & Oral Surgery services. The eligible applicant should have a vast technical skill set with a focus on veterinary anesthesia and patient monitoring. The applicant would provide anesthesia services for all specialty departments managing patients with a multitude of systemic diseases, orthopedic, soft tissue or neurologic diseases. Â Â Anesthesia cases at AVES include (but are not limited to) advanced imaging (CT and MRI), orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries, laparoscopic procedures, endoscopy, cystoscopy, dental and oral surgery, and sedated procedures. Equipment available include pulse oximetry, capnography, invasive and non-invasive blood pressure, ECG, and mechanical ventilators.
