Dr. Kate Larson

Dr. Larson began her education at Rice University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Psychology. Shen then completed a year of research at MD Anderson Cancer Center working on new treatments for canine osteosarcoma. She went on to attend the University of Georgia where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. To further her training as a small animal clinician, she completed a rotating small animal internship at Texas A&M University. Her clinical interests include ophthalmology, emergency medicine, trauma, and infectious disease. In her free time, Dr. Larson enjoys yoga, hiking with her dog Abby, and volunteering for international veterinary service projects.
