Jeremy Fleming | DVM, DACVS-SA

Dr. Jeremy Fleming was born and raised in a town called Franklin, Tennessee, just south of Nashville. He received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. After this, he completed a one-year Medicine and Surgery Internship at the University of Minnesota. He then moved to Davis, California where he completed a small animal surgical residency at the University of California-Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. Dr. Fleming is particularly interested in liver mass removal, liver shunts, subcutaneous ureteral bypass procedure, minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures, cardiothoracic surgery, minimally invasive arthroscopy, fracture repair, surgical oncology, and wound management. He has published research on spontaneous hemoperitoneum in dogs and presented this at the American College of Veterinary Surgery Conference. Dr. Fleming is dedicated to treating dogs and cats as members of the family. During his free time, he loves spending time outside with his two dogs running, hiking, and backpacking. He also loves playing sports, reading books, snowboarding, and playing and listening to music.
