John Whittaker | DVM, DACVAA

Dr. Whittaker joins AVES from Manhattan, Kansas where he completed residency training in Anesthesiology at Kansas State University. Prior to his residency, Dr. Whittaker received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University and practiced small animal medicine in Tucson, Arizona. Dr. Whittaker’s clinical interests within Anesthesia include individualized patient care, management of critically ill patients and use of regional anesthesia techniques to manage pain. When Dr. Whittaker isn’t treating his patients, he can be found enjoying live music, traveling, and exploring natural places.
