Kathryn McCutcheon | DVM, Head of Emergency

Dr. McCutcheon has lived a variety of places ranging from Alaska to Brazil! She began her undergraduate education at the University of Alaska and earned her Bachelors of Science from Middle Tennessee State University. She obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois. Dr. McCutcheon continued her veterinary education by completing a one-year, small animal rotating internship at Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center. She traded in the hills and bridges of Pittsburgh for the beautiful beaches of South Carolina where she practiced as an emergency veterinarian. When the opportunity to move to the live music capital of the world presented itself, she jumped on it! She shares her home with two miniature pinschers: Lita Marie, the crazy pants, and Dennis Andrew, the sweet disaster; as well as three cats: Jasmin Esmeralda, Tucker Morgan, and Baby Girl. Her clinical interests include wound management, toxicities, and autoimmune disease. She enjoys spending time outdoors and looks forward to soaking up all the sun and song that Austin has to offer!
