Born in Abu Dhabi and raised in Texas, Dr. Adam Ayoub attended the University of Texas at Austin where he completed two Bachelor of Science degrees in neuroscience and neurobiology. After graduating, Dr. Ayoub worked as a lab manager at the Center for Learning and Memory at UT Austin for one year before packing up his life and moving to Canada to complete his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College. Dr. Ayoub now lives in Austin with his duck tolling retriever Aya, and three cats Eve, Ulrik, and Mjolnir. His clinical areas of interest include autoimmune diseases, neurology, cardiology, pet nutrition, and wound management. During his free time, Dr. Ayoub enjoys hiking, traveling, gardening, cooking, baking or just sitting on a patio enjoying Austin life! A long term goal of his is to go back to school and advance his career by becoming board certified in emergency and critical care medicine.
